How it Started
Merrifield Garden & Design was founded in 2004 with a focus on small planting projects and garden maintenance. Since then, the company has grown to offer a wider range of specialized garden and landscape services in order to better meet the needs of our residential clients.
"As a recent college grad, I daydreamed about finding a job I loved. I knew I was happiest when outdoors. This love, combined with a passion for working with plants, led to the start of a very small gardening business."

Fast forward a few years...
The one woman show that was Merrifield Garden & Design began to grow. The business moved out of my home, and soon trucks and full-time employees joined the company. Little by little, we grew and grew.
Today, we are more focused than ever on designing, installing and maintaining beautiful and functional gardens. It’s what we love to do and what we do best!
Our Team
Merrifield Garden & Design is comprised of a unique mix of hard working, motivated, don’t mind getting dirty, work in ‘most’ weather, customer focused, safety conscious, creative, right plant right place, never stop learning/improving/growing, people. We love what we do and it shows in our work.
