Plant Buyer/Operations/Field Support

Bob’s passion for plants and the outdoors brought him to re-explore a career in the horticulture industry. We’re glad he did, as he serves an important hybrid role within our company of our Plant Buyer and operations and field team support.

Prior to joining Merrifield Bob was a General Manager for a local machine shop, a Field Coordinator for a garden center supplier, and a stay at home Dad. He enjoys sourcing a wide variety of plants and materials, and developing relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers. His positive mindset and thirst for knowledge make him an excellent addition to our company.

When not at work, Bob can be found coaching youth sports, mountain biking, and kayaking.
