Day 1: The crane arrives on site and completes the tree removals including 1 large Maple and several pine trees.
Day 2: The remaining trees are pruned to remove deadwood and shape as needed.
Day 3: The edge of the new planting bed is measured out from a retired railroad track near the property line. The new edge is then staked and lined out.
After measuring is complete, we spend the remainder of the morning unloading 17 new plants including Dogwoods, Hollies and Hemlocks.
The trees were unloaded along the road and transported down the driveway one by one.
A holding area for plants to soon be installed.

Day 3 ends by staking the new plant locations with the Landscape Architects.
Day 4: On Day 4 we transplanted existing shrubs, ground covers and perennials to a temporary holding area, then placed the new plants along the property line.
Day 5 and 6: The planting begins!
Day 7: The new landscape is beginning to take shape... planting continues along with transplanting the perennials, ground covers and shrubs back to their prior locations.
